Art speaks. It speaks to the maker - a conversation that moves in whispers and heartbeats, secrets and breaths.
Art speaks. It speaks to the viewer - a conversation that moves in those same ways, but in an entirely different dialect, unique to each person. The conversations we have with art (what strikes us, what intrigues us, what appeals to us and what doesn't) are speaking to us about who we are and our place in the world. These dialogues are mysterious when left unexamined and even more mysterious when examined closely because they reveal just how much we have yet to learn about ourselves. Art is a contemplation of life - a visual meditation on the vastness of the unknown.
